"Trying hard not to hear but they talk so loud
Their piercing sounds fill my ears try to fill me with doubt
Yet I know that the goal is to keep me from falling"
(McCartney) Sung by Leona Lewis
The interesting part is the last line. It could mean two things: To keep herself from falling completely in love because at this point her sanity is question or to keep herself and the relationship from falling from all these talks and criticism. I believe it's the second but it's really open for any interpretation. This is important in explaining what "bleeding love" is. It basically means you can bleed externally but the effects of emotional bleeding just overshadows the physicality.
In the second line I question what she means by piercing sounds. Are they yelling to the point where what they saying is audible but they just pass off as sounds?
